This unit is good for support with a good damage output and phenomenal range, its special is really effective in spite of being identical in damage, thanks to the even further range and ability to hit air units. with good meat shielding, you could stack these things like crazy for high damage, and run in with a black hound's special attack to fill the gaps from the suppressing firepower these offer.
