Christmas Eri

Overview[]

A superior version of Eri, dressed for the holidays.

Standard attack (Close): Candy cane stab. Unremarkable damage.

Standard attack (Long): A single pistol shot. Unremarkable damage. Slightly longer detection range than that of Christmas Fio.

Special attack (Long): A laser with massive range, but it only lasts a short while (unlike Fat Eri's) and does moderate damage. Charges at a fair speed; Christmas Eri rarely fails to pull off her special.

Costs 300 medals in the shop and only available for purchase in version 1.40.0.

Tactics[]

With her sky-high medal cost, she is generally not seen in competitive play as Christmas Fio does far more damage with her special and, unlike Christmas Eri, can hold her own against certain early game threats. Christmas Eri loses to Green Hazmat as the laser knocks him back and he will not receive the full damage. The damage from her laser is disappointing: it in fact does less damage than Fat Eri's laser.

However, Christmas Eri is far from useless and has one significant advantage over many units: her special attack ignores all KOF special attacks and is basically unstoppable except by MSAs or invincibility, making her a consistent source of damage even in the late game. She can also surprise early game users of Big John or Parachuetruck by sniping the builder. Unlike Fat Eri, she easily survives Big Shiee's standard attack, and unless the map is very short she can often pull off two lasers per summon after the player gets used to its range, which helps with her otherwise mediocre damage.
