A minor enemy from Metal Slug 3 if the player chooses to play as Fio; a clone of Fio synthesized by the Martians that has degenerated to a zombie state. It was one of the most dangerous enemies in its parent game, with a large amount of health and attacking with a massive stream of vomit that players avoided by exploiting the uneven terrain. This would later become Clone Fio(Zombie)'s special attack in Metal Slug Defense.
Standard attack: Fires her pistol four times while moving forward. Damage is very poor.
Special attack: Vomits a piercing stream of blood with massive range and decent knockback power. This attack is vulnerable to being canceled by certain KOF characters, use with care when they are on the field.
Clone Fio is one of the units affected by the 'Armor Value' that affects some of the older units, back when SNK released buff/nerf updates on their page. She is noticeably less durable than her 4,200 HP value seems to suggest.

Tactics[]
- Clone Fio is an effective answer to Hyakutarou and Mortar stacking. If the opponent is trying to stack either of these, make arrangements to send Clone Fio out as soon as possible. Obviously, Clone Fio should only be sent out while heavily protected. She is also useful against Patrol Robots, but it takes two specials instead.
- Although the special can hit air units, it does not have the power to outright destroy most of them barring MH-6s and the monkeys.
- When Clone Fio is knocked back, she falls flat on her face and takes a very long time to get up. This is actually advantageous, especially on short maps or when under pressure, as she is completely invincible and charges her special while doing so.
- Clone Fio synergizes well with rush units such as Giant Caterpillar which can protect her and let her use the special closer to the enemy stack. Watch out for piercing damage.
- Clone Fio is at a disadvantage in short maps, where she may have trouble charging her special.
- Clone Fio will survive Big Shiee's standard attack, but only barely.
