Morden Robot is an unlockable unit in the game.
Overview[]
Morden Robot is an early to mid-game unit with good attack and HP for its cost.
When defeated, this unit's head will fly off, damaging an enemy unit. He himself continues to block damage for a short while until exploding.
Morden Robot can be obtained by freeing all POWs in the Zombie Morden stage of World Three.
Tactics[]
- Morden Robot is regularly seen in competitive play for his Resistance. He is one of the cheapest units that can never be knocked backwards.
- This unit can be sent as your first unit to block oncoming attacks, allowing more setup time.
- Morden Robot is best used as a shield for other long-range units. He can halt a Metal Slug Attack without being shoved backwards. He can also be used for long-range support, but his firepower is quite average for his cost.
- His final explosion upon death is extremely useful. His head comes off, targeting the nearest enemy unit and exploding. His body will still block damage and shuffle forwards a bit.
- As Morden Robot is a stable unit, strategically speaking, there really is no way to counter Robot Morden other than to gun him down as fast as you can.
