Overview[]
From the Samurai route in Metal Slug 3. An elite version of Samurai Infantry. Introduced in update 1.30.0 and costs 60 medals in the shop.
Standard attack (close): Swings katana.
Standard attack (long): Launches a bomb from his pants. Surprisingly high damage for an early-game non-melee unit.
Special attack: Runs forward before lying down and blowing himself up. Good vertical range: can hit even ceiling-hugging units like monkeys and Hunter Walker. Less damaging than the special attacks of other suicide units.
If killed before he uses his special attack, he will run forwards and blow up in a similar fashion as well.
Tactics[]
- His special attack or after-death attack stops enemy units from advancing, which has some usefulness, especially against rush units like Slug Armor.
- If a melee unit (e.g. Smasher, Slug Armor) reaches him and you predict he is going to die, use the special and your opponent will not get AP from killing him.
